FAQs

Common questions.

What clients ask about scope, timeline, and how the work runs.

What does a full home remodel include?

As much or as little of the house as you want. Most full remodels touch the kitchen, the bathrooms, flooring, and paint, and many change the layout too. We scope it room by room, then run it as one project so the finishes match across the house.

How long does a whole-home remodel take?

Longer than a single room, and it depends on how much you're changing and what we find once walls open up. We give you a realistic window after we've walked the house and settled the plan, and we keep you posted if anything shifts.

Can we live in the house during the remodel?

Sometimes, in phases. If we're working one wing at a time, you may be able to stay. A full gut usually means moving out for a stretch. We tell you up front which one your project is so you can plan for it.

Can you change the layout, not just the finishes?

Yes. On a whole-home job the layout is usually the point — opening up walls, moving a kitchen, adding a bath. We handle the structural, plumbing, and electrical changes and tell you up front what's load-bearing and what isn't.

Do you pull the permits?

Yes. When a remodel involves structural, plumbing, or electrical work, we handle the permits and the inspections that go with them. You're not the one chasing the county.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. HammerHead is licensed in Florida and carries insurance. We're glad to confirm it before any work starts.
